Kamakura Trail Run
Trail running in the Kamakura Alps. One of the premier trail courses in the metropolitan area where you can enjoy mountains and sea simultaneously.
The low mountain range behind Kamakura is called the "Kamakura Alps" and is a popular spot for trail running. Centered around the Tennomien Hiking Course, the approximately 4km route connecting Kenchoji Temple to Zuisenzi Temple offers scenic views of Sagami Bay while running through the forest. With an elevation gain of about 100m, it's accessible and perfect for beginners' trail running debut. After running, you can enjoy cafes and dining in Kamakura town, which is another appeal. In spring, you can experience the luxury of running among cherry blossoms, and in autumn, among colorful leaves.
