The 'Ishinomori Manga Museum' in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture is a museum where you can experience the world of manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori, creator of famous works such as 'Kamen Rider' and 'Cyborg 009'. Its unique exterior, designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa, is inspired by a spaceship. Inside, the museum features displays of original manga artwork, exhibits of Kamen Rider suits from various eras, and hands-on manga production experience areas. Manga character monuments are scattered throughout Ishinomaki's streets, with the entire town serving as a manga pilgrimage destination.
