Kutani pottery, nurtured by the culture of Kaga's million-koku domain, is a traditional craft characterized by vivid colored paintings using the five colors: red, blue, yellow, green, and purple. At the Kutani Pottery Village in Nomi City, experience workshops are held where you can paint your own unique designs on tea cups and plates under the guidance of skilled craftsmen. Finished pieces are fired and shipped to your home. The adjoining museum displays masterpieces from ancient Kutani to contemporary works, allowing you to immerse yourself in the profound world of Kutani pottery.
