An island living experience program on Japan's northernmost remote islands, Rishiri Island and the flower-filled Rebun Island.
Rishiri Island and Rebun Island are remote islands floating at the northernmost tip of Hokkaido, with unique natural environments and cultures. There are programs where you can experience island life, such as climbing Rishiri Fuji (Rishiri Mountain) and experiencing kombu seaweed fishing on Rishiri Island, and alpine plant trekking on Rebun Island. Through work experiences such as fishing and drying kombu seaweed, you can experience the island's industries and culture. Summer-only relocation experience housing is also available, allowing you to truly experience actual island living. Access from Wakkanai by ferry.
