Takeshita Street
Harajuku's fashion and culture street. A sacred destination for young people lined with crepe shops and colorful miscellaneous goods stores.
A 350-meter street running from JR Harajuku Station to Meiji Street, serving as a hub for youth culture spanning their teens to twenties. Colorful Harajuku fashion shops, vintage clothing stores, accessory shops, crepe shops, tapioca shops, and more are densely lined up. On weekends, it becomes so crowded you can barely move. In recent years, Instagram-worthy sweets and photo spots have increased, making it extremely popular with international tourists. It can be enjoyed together with nearby attractions such as Meiji Shrine and Cat Street.
