Dogo Onsen Asuka no Yu
A new landmark of Dogo Onsen featuring the architectural style of the Asuka era. Ultimate relaxation with beauty-enhancing hot spring and art space.
Asuka no Yu, which opened in 2017, is a new public bath facility of Dogo Onsen that incorporates the architectural style of the Asuka era, inspired by the legend of Prince Shotoku's visit to the hot spring. Throughout the building, art works inspired by Ehime's traditional crafts are displayed, allowing guests to enjoy hot springs in a beautiful space. Dogo Onsen's alkaline simple thermal spring is known as a 'beauty-skin hot spring,' with a smooth texture that keeps the skin moisturized and soft. The special bath also offers a luxurious experience where guests can enjoy tea and sweets in a private room after bathing.
