Chichibu Yohzan Park Moss Pink Festival
A spectacular view where approximately 400,000 moss pink plants dye the entire hillside pink and white. A carpet of flowers spreads against the backdrop of the Chichibu mountains.
At 'Moss Pink Hill' in Yohzan Park overlooking Chichibu city center, approximately 400,000 moss pink plants of 9 varieties are planted across about 17,600 square meters of land. From mid-April to early May, when the viewing season arrives, the sight of pink, white, and purple flowers coloring the entire hillside is spectacular. The carpet of flowers with Bukoh Mountain as a backdrop is one of the most representative spring landscapes of the Kanto region. During the festival period, you can also enjoy vendor stalls selling Chichibu local specialties. It has excellent access, being within walking distance from Seibu-Chichibu Station. We recommend visiting it together with Chichibu Shrine and Chichibu Matsuri Hall.
